Maybe this belongs in the Looking For.... forum but...
Anyone who runs SLeek will have seen the handy little way you can see your Inventory- looks like regular Windows file tree... But you can't affect it- that would make SLeek perfect for me- if I could manipulate my inventory from within it... But the site for SLeek says it would not be updated or worked on for a while...
Anyone know of an interface that will actually let me deal with inventory in a more reasonable fashion?
SL's idea of inventory is beyond ludicrous.

I like to open two inventory windows and just drag items between them. Much easier than dragging an item between folders in one window.

There are inventory sorters out there ... I've seen them listed on SL Exchange in the past. Downside is that they are very expesnive for what they do.
If your inv is not in 5 figures yet, Bree has given the best answer.
You can also get items which store your stuff such as the furniture from PixelTrix. They have a laptop you can access your stored items via without having to TP home.

Hiya Amaranthim...
I use the 'inventory organizer boxes' from 'Thinc'. They allow you to browse stored items and retrieve the ones you want. They're quite reasonably priced too....I forget how much at the moment, but I'll get back to you on that... I think you can buy single ones, and a set of four copyable ones.... I find them great...

Once your inventory is open go to the top left corner of it and click File, I think its file, not in world to be sure lol. At any rate, click that word in the top left corner (of your open inventory that is) and then choose 'Open New Window'
