Not showing up in new search Media snapshot wont load LL NOT helping at all !

TRUs been in SL for 4 yrs almost as some of you may know.
We have 40 artist, more hand made txtrs than any other txtr store in SL.
And yet we dont show in the new search a lot of the time and when we do the media texture isnt loading.

Added to this, the L$30 list option in basic land options keeps on unticking itself which I assume THEN takes us off the new Search for a while whilst it updates

Im getting customers IMing me asking where the stores gone as its not listed.

So I check the L$ 30 list option and sure enough its unticked AGAIN!


Added to that when we are on the new search as I say the Media/Snap Shot doesnt appear at all.

Now I know there are "tricks" to getting up that list on the new search and over all I'm not too fussy about being No 1 although I cant help but feel frustrated when stores less than 6 mth old are higher than us.

I just dont know the secrets and no ones prepared to share lol

So a few questions....

1) is anyone else having problems I described here with them disapearing off BOTH search lists? Does your L$30 List option keep unticking? Does your media texture not load for the new All Search?

2) I am willing and happy to pay people to help TRU achive the position I believe it should be on that list , certainly the top 5.
So if there are ppl out there that can help TRU and its 40 artists I would be more than happy and VERY appreciative to pay you for your hints, tips, suggestions. Not here of course but maybe send me your name on a notecard in world and we can arrange a meet up or you can send me your fees for the information?

I have spoke to LL on the phone, in Live chat in concierge, I have emailed a Linden as refered by one of the artists who had similar issues on her sim but she hasnt replied.

No one from the LL seems to a) know whats wrong or b) wants to help and yet theres LOTS of help for ppl using the system to locate stores. How about some guidance in getting your store SEEN

I know everyone wants to be seen, no matter how old or new you are but I feel TRU based on its age, reputation and shear size and impact in SL is being given the shitty end of the stick here and LL are not helping.

Store with 18,000 traffic and 40,000 textures with currently around 1000 'items' listed with the
" show in search "

( technically Textures R Us ' should be No 1 on the new ALL search due to the shear amount of textures we hold, the amount of ppl that have us in their picks and are members of the Textures R Us group )

1) The "Show Place in Search for L$30 " tick box keeps unticking itself and as such we disapear off the New ALL search for a day or 2 after I re tick the "Show Place In Search for L$30 " aagin.

2) The media texture shows in the old search BUT not in the new despite many attempts to reload it and resize it. So when we 'do' show in new ALL search the media box just has a little black box saying " Snap Shot "


3) Need some help and info/tips on how to get us up that new search list were I feel all older and generally well known stores should be.
( when we DO show on the new search list, we are on page 1 which is good)

I'm just trying to work out how brand new stores , much smaller and newer are higher than us , what stheir secret in other words

Statitsics:


Standard Places search we show as No 5 ( appox )
Traffic 18K daily.
over 1000 items ticked as SHow In Search ( and growing with the end number to be around 4000 items )
Sim sized store on own island.
150 members in the Textures R Us group and many customers have us in their Picks in profile too.

These are the facts.

Need general help and wil pay for tips and hints that these newer stores clearly understand and I dont! lol
Willing to pay for info to push and keep us up that new search list.

I guess I am still confused on where the ranking is?
And what does your group have to do with it?
I also think it has more to do with traffic than paid ads

hi LillyBeth, just 1 observation made so far, many of your items do not have Show in Search ticked. could be related to a bug that someone had reported to jira.

Send an email and open a ticket complaining about the "new and improved" search.
