When is search gonna be fixed

I know its not particuly broken.... and this has been touched on so many times

There was talk at one point that the Lindens was going to remove dwell alltogether, so that you no longer got masses of traffic for campchairs alts etc... and that search was going to be fair based on ACTUAL visits rather than anything else.

The reason I ask is that its somewhat difficult in certain SL business to get seen on the list unless you have traffic of AT LEAST 20k per day... no matter how popular you actually are.

I used to be pro camping but I have seen business reallly struggle becasue they cant compete with those areas that use Clothes and Fashion as search words for a whore house and then stick 50 camp chairs in.

I suppose in a way ..... the questions are

IS LL gaming the traffic system itself... i.,e allow camping to bring in more money into world and making it easier to have alts therefor increasing the numbers?

and

Would the lack of dwell traffic hurt or bennefit your business

Search broken? Gee I remember being told by one well known forum resident telling me there is nothing wrong with search. We just don't know how to use it properly. More Pie anyone?

It'll break again Marty, even when fixed. Bound to - such is the nature of such things, but it will get fixed again In the meanwhile when they change it if you are lucky you might be the one with the side effect of coming up on top of the list.

I cant lie ... i am at the top of the list in my category...... but thats not based on dwell .. im just lucky. Just seems so unfair to many that unless you can makes LOTS of money to pay for campers .... cheat using alts .... or pay for MEGA adds you dont really stand a chance.

and if we combine both Cheery and Brenda .... anyone for Fish Pie
