Dari Collar Update

I don't know where to post this, so please redirect me if necessary. Here's an update from Dari's web site about modifying the collar to let it work after the web site goes away:

I am following the instructions but can't find the "dari-node" prim or the "!" script. Could my collar already have been modified when I bought it (only a couple of weeks ago)? It's the Elegant Silver Necklace 1.15 piece. I found all the other scripts, just not the prim or the script referenced on the web.

Not sure this is much help, but I rezzed a copy of that item from the box of stuff Dari distributed, and the "dari-node" prim was completely contained within the silver root prim in the middle of the necklace. But after I slid that root prim out of the way so I could edit the dari-node prim, I didn't see the "!" script inside. So... dunno.

I'm possibly stating the obvious, but it's so easy to bookmark a link without thinking, and to assume you can go back to it at a later date when you want to. If anyone thinks they may need this page for future reference, then save the information to your hard drive. Remember that in the post itself, Dari states the website will eventually disappear. Thus will that instruction page also disappear, so if you don't think you'll remember the info, save the page to your hard drive, either using File > Save Page As > Web Page, Complete (or however your browser treats it) or paste the pertinent information into a text file.

From what I read on her site, the removal of that script is only necessary for collars purchased earlier from her store. The full-perms ones in the legacy box already had this polling script removed.

I did purchase the collar on XstreetSL a few weeks ago but I don't have a record of that transaction. It did come from her store but I don't know the exact date.
