Apologies if this has been asked and answered elsewhere - I could not find it i a quick search.

I have some 23 dances (thank you Sine Wave!) and would like an easy interface to control them with - rather like my AO (thank you ZHAO!).

I would like to be able to run them in a sequence, randomly and pick and choose them all with a touch-button interface thingy. Does such a thing exist?

I have heard of a chimera - but is that not for groups of dancers?

Any help appreciated!

I must say I only have 2 dances that I bought from Babcock but I like to use this hud for them:

There is also a free version that allow you to put only 2 or 3 dances...

Chimera and Huddles are two of the popular animators.

I use Huddles Deluxe which does exactly what you're asking for. The basic version might also, check the feature set of each.

Ameythist Dance Promenace also works ok, I found it simpler to load dances into than Huddles which seemed way to complicated and didn't sort them anyway

Chimera can be for synchronized group dancing, but it doesn't have to be used that way. I have mine loaded with 12 Sine Wave dances and I almost never take it off unless it falls off on it's own from another attachment. (^_^)y

It'll sort them however you want it to...you just make a notecard list and drop it into the HUD.

Yeah that's what I found a pain typing them all out in the notecard list, it was less effort just to drop hm in the Ameythist still out of order but didn't have to edit a notecard everytime I added a new dance

Setting them up initially was a bit of a pain, since I already had a bunch of dances, but adding one or two is nothing...you don't even have to drop the HUD. I also tend to copy and paste the names, either using right-click > Rename > Ctrl-c > Ctrl-v or right-click > Properties > Ctrl-c > Ctrl-v, rather than typing them out.

Just to clarify, you don't have to use notecards when you use the EZ Animator Deluxe from HUDDLES. If you wanted to use it for dancing only, you could remove what animations are inside it and just put in a bunch of dances. The notecards only really become necessary when you want to put many different types of animations into the HUD. The notecards allow you categorize the dances and do other things like create specific dance sequences with timings.

If you just didn't want to deal with the notecards at all, you could always get the EZ Animator Basic which has no notecards and requires no setup beyond just putting the dances inside.
