Backing up your client settings?

Hiya all! I'm having a real issue with the client on my laptop. In order to attempt to resolve the problem, I'd like to uninstall and reinstall the client. HOWEVER, is there any way to save all my settings?? It took me eons to get everything just the way I like it and I don't want to lose any of that. Is there a config file somewhere that contains all that good stuff? Thanx!!

make a copy of the folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\[comp profile name]\Application Data\SecondLife\
it contains all the information

the settings file in particular is found at:
C:\Documents and Settings\[comp profile name]\Application Data\SecondLife\user_settings\'settings.xml'

there is also another settings file at:
'C:\Documents and Settings\[comp profile name]\Application Data\SecondLife\[avatar name]\'settings.xml''
