Hey I just brought a new PC with: Windows Vista 64bit but upgraded to Windows 7 64bit Intel Core Quad 2 - 2.50GHz 4GB RAM Nvidia Geforce GT220 graphics card, The problem being that every time I go to start it, it says "Your system does not meet Second life's minimum system requirements" I have tested my computer on www.systemrequirementslab.com and it says it can run it no problem. Plus when going into second life's graphic settings they are set to low, and even my laptop can run it at Med. Thanks.....

Do you have the latest Windows 7 driver from Nvidia? If you upgraded and are running a Vista driver it may confuse some aps even if it functions just fine.

Don't worry about it. That means SL doesn't recognize your graphics adapter and you will have to set the graphics options manually. It will probaby go away with the next version of SL. The GT220 came out after the last release of the SL viewer.

From the release notes: "Viewer gpu_list.txt does not include some recent NVIDIA graphics cards - On systems running NVIDIA GTS 250, GTX 270 and GTX 275 graphics cards, SL may indicate that the minimum system requirements have not been met. The viewer will still function, but graphics will default to Low or Medium settings. If your system uses any of these graphics cards, click the 'Don't show me this again' check-box, then choose 'No' to continue logging into Second Life.
