charged 3 times for the same thing!!

hiya everyone, hope someone can help me!
Well basically my prob is that i have had to pay threee times for the same thing when i buy anythin. I went to a club and tipped the dj L$50 but it went thru 3 times and i tipped him L$150. I thought ok, maybe my mistake, wont happen again. But no! When i then went to but some shoes, i was again charged 3 times even tho i clicked pay only once. i really dont want to buy anythin else now, as i dont want to have to pay triple, there is a credit crunch on!! I know im not treble clickin so what can be the prob? Someone please help!

have you checked your transaction history?
today whenever i upload a texture the blue popup comes out 2x for each upload..
at first i though .. :mad:
but when i checked my transaction history i was only charged 1x for each upload.

Same here, sometimes i was getting up to 4 dialogue boxes for one upload but my transaction history only showed one payment (of L$10) so not worth worrying about.

file a ticket or contact support... you should get your money back ...
at least contact the creator you bought from... any good shopkeeper will refund you.

Often this is due to lag in the sim, and absolutely no fault of the merchant you were dealing with. Most merchants, if contacted politely with transaction record information, and shown multiple purchases of the same item in a matter of seconds, will gladly give you a refund.

are you by any chance using a wireless network?

I have heard that wireless can sometimes cause things like that to happen (not sure why).

(I have seen people's chat double and triple due to being on a wireless connection, could be the same type of thing maybe)

I had the same thing happen this morning, I took a snapshot, uploaded it, got the "You've been charged 10L" popup twice. I'm not on a wireless network, the sim wasn't lagged and this has happened repeatedly since they rolled out the new server update this week. :mad:

Ditto what Talon said. I was taking pics of rental properties, and each one the You have paid etc came up twice. Very irritating!

Talon, were you charged twice?

I've been getting the "double L$10" for uploading too. It seems to only be taking it out once though - and I'm not on wireless - and on a non-laggy sim.

Duplicate Fee Messages in 1.26.2 Server Regions

We are investigating an issue some Residents are experiencing in 1.26 server regions resulting in duplicate messages when uploading pictures or sounds, or taking snapshots. Although some Residents may be informed multiple times that they are paying L$10 for the service, they are correctly assessed for a single transaction.

The issue and its effect on the 1.26.2 rollout are currently being assessed.

I checked my transactions and no, it looks like they only charged 10L each time. So it's just an annoying error and not a money losing one, that's good to know.

thanks everyone for your help. will contact the merchant an see what happens. I deffo did get charged tho so i would just say to eveyone, be careful, and watch ya balance :o)
