Frustrated that LL is taking over, I thought I would do a search and post the results for competing web-based SL marketplaces. If you guys have a site, please post the URL and a review here!

Vitty:
http://www.vitty.jp/

This appears to be a Japanese-based site, but most of the stuff is in English. Looks like ads are posted in French, English, and Japanese.

Setup is like the others, creating a login with your email info. Payment is in L$ for items. People can add L$ to their account at an Vitty ATM.

Fees: For items less than L$51, no charge. Above that, 5% handling fee like XStreet.

Go ahead! Post your alternatives and please give a brief overview. I may not be the only one who would like to check them out!

I checked this out, and also heard about it through the Fashion Consolidated Cafe group but couldn't recall the name.

Looks like searches are simple enough. Stats show on the right as you get there so you know that they're doing some volume. The site says "COMING: Collections, Ratings, Reviews, Features, Lists and more!"

They have a wiki on how to set up, and apparently have a lot of vending features other than the website. Commission is 5%.

looks like SLSmart has gone the way of the dodo..

I seem to recall that there was another Japanese site, http://slcom.jp/ Though not reading Japanese, I only have my friend's report that it was "something kind of like SLX"

I signed up yesterday and got my first few items out.It is a nice site but it will take me a full week to list my items.I suppose once your used to the system it might get easier.
same price as Xl 5%.
How long they will be allowed to operate is another question. one click and it's all gone.

MaYDayZ, you've been reported for spamming. Kindly STOP pasting that into every damn thread.
