Hi there everyone
Since I downloaded the last SL viewer update, I have been experiencing some annoying crashes...These being when my fiancee tp's into our skybox, I continuously crash even when logging back in, and she has to leave the skybox so I can log in and stay logged in...
Also I had the same problem when rezzing my hot-tub on our balcony...
Now I am a bit concerned as to what could be causing these crashes, as I have not experienced anything like this before I downloaded the new viewer update...
I am running this system....
Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit,
AMD Athlon 64x2 processor 6000+,
4GB...DDR2-SDRAM,
500 GB SATA 3G HDD 7200rpm,
nVIDIA GeForce 8500GT TurboCache with PureVideo 512MB memory,
15in1 memory card reader..
I get a warning message from the PC, after SL crashes me, saying "indicator driver was repaired after an error"
No idea what this means... The PC was bought brand new in June 2008
Can anyone help me as these crashes are very annoying, and it is not right that my fiancee should leave our skybox to allow me to log in...

Having read further into this, I have found that it could be the new viewer upgrade...I am now off to re-download viewer 1.19, instead of viewer 1.20...

Mad, dont think i have ever heard of someone crashing because of the arrival of another Avatar. Most likely would be a graphics problem I guess but pretty unusual.

It's a shame the fiance will be away so long, kinda puts a damper on testing for probable causes.. but I would suggest that the first thing she do is remove all outward worn attachments, and any prim garments as well. I'm betting the problem is something she is wearing.

After reading further posts regarding the same type of crashes...I have re-downloaded the 1.19 viewer as there is a conflict between Windows Vista and the 1.20 viewer... No crashes of that sort have happened since, even when I have TPed a couple of friends into the skybox... Also, just what is wrong with my roleplaying...Considering I only behave this way in the forced sex sims...Just why cant SL have a resident flasher, they seem to have everything else... |
