Okay, I'm sure this has been asked before but i have looked and looked in multiple places until my eyes are crossed. I'm hoping to find a kind helpful soul to answer this question for me :D

I recently bought some gestures and did not notice when purchasing them that they were no modify. I don't need to modify the gesture, just the trigger words to get them to work in chat because some don't have any at all(kind of rediculous to me, but oh well). Thinking that i could still change the triggers, I have tried numerous times and get the same error message over and over. When I IM'ed the creator, and was told that although the gesture is not modifiable, the trigger is always modifiable. Well I am now thinking that they have told me this so they do not have to replace them with new copies or so as not to give a refund.

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but I would like to hear it from someone else that is a little more knowledgeable than I am. Thanks!!

Where are you editing them from? If you edit using the gestures list that comes up when you choose Gestures from the Edit menu, then the triggers should certainly be modifiable, but if you are trying to edit an individual gesture by right-click and Edit (if that's possible?) the permissions might well stop you.

well i was double clicking the gesture in the inventory menu to open it and editing from there. Every time i would try to save the change i would get the "error in upload request" message. But looking at it the way you described here, I found out that some of them have been changed even though I was getting that message. Thanks for that, hopefully editing your way will work better. :D
