Hi,

I'm looking for an inter-sim networked bases advertising system.

I want to do the following:
Put several adds into a server (texture+notecard+landmark)

The server sends the adds to the billboards that are located in different sims.
The billboards display the adds at random and give the notecard and/or landmark when available.

When possible: the advertiser can pay the advertising server and configure it so that is a automated system.

Does this exist what i want ?
What is a good system ?

Thanks for info about this system.

Try Hippotech... it does pretty much what you're describing.

There are other systems out there, but Hippotech is the only one I know of.

I really think advertising at the various schools would be better. People avoid the merchants who advertise on adfarms.

I don't want to create adforms; i only want to put 'some' SMALL advertising signs on my different land parcels. Close to TP point and so.

Can you also give me a list of "various schools". I don't know what you are talking about.

And what product of HippoTech can do that ?
I know the rental & vendor system of HippoTech.
Do they also have a advertising system ?
I was in there main office but did not see it.

The schools that accept sponsors are NCI, ASL, and TUi, the others I'm not sure of...there are more too; as a sponsor, you get ad space and the classes are very well attended..your ad will get seen by more residents than by just putting them up on a parcel.

Do a search under Events/Education and you can see all the schools teaching SL skill sets.

Thanks for the tip Dnali.

BTW: i don't want to start an adfarm (i hate what they do with the mainland); i want to place the advertisings in good visited places like in malls, events, ...

The schools are very good for advertising in that you get anywhere from 10 to 50 avatars per hour class; multiply that by 5 to 10 classes a day and that is a lot of residents seeing your ad or hearing you mentioned during the pre class announcements.

Compare that to the 6 views that a New Product post gets in the Forums or the negativity associated with advertising signage and I really think advertising through the schools is the best way to go.

It may take a while, Travis, but NCI's AdNode system will be expanding for other non-profits (like the Shelter). It just took us a lot longer to work all the kinks out than we anticipated.
