I posted my first comment 3 days ago, and I understand all first comments in the Official Blog are moderated.
But 3 days, and still waiting, is a long time in a topical context - the moment has passed, so perhaps the comment doesn't matter any more.
I was just wondering tho, is this usual as far as moderation in the official Blog is concerned?

Is the blog you posted the moderated comment to full? There's a limit on the amount of comments each blog can handle so maybe by the time your comment was approved it was closed to comments.

It's true, the comments were closed a few posts after mine. I still see mine (#99 out of 102 comments) a few posts before the end, with 'Your comment is awaiting moderation. Please don't submit your comment more than once.' attached to it. Other people see 101 comments with mine absent. Looks like if I don't get in and post soon enough for the moderation process to work, I may never get to post my first comment

My first comment took several days, but did eventually make it up even though comments were closed. Because we are having a long holiday weekend here, I wouldn't expect anything to happen on this until at least Tuesday or Wednesday. On the bright side, once it's approved, your future comments should post right away.

I've alway wondered why sometimes a blog that was closed at 100 entries suddenly has acquired a few more after a few days.
Now I know.
