I am trying to find out the UUID of an avatar and have looked at the instructions in the SL Wiki. Unfortunately, what the instructions say will appear when I do a SEARCH for this avatar is not what is appearing. The page that should come up, according to the Wiki, would show "Link to this page" at the bottom which includes the UUID, but that is not what is coming up when I do the SEARCH. I get a page that just has a link to that avatar's profile, but I do not see the UUID on the profile.
Can anyone help me find a different way to obtain the UUID.

That doesn't seem to work either. After I type in his avatar's name, I get an error message that says "None found." Is it because it is a new avatar? Thanks _____________________

The w-hat database isn't comprehensive, but it's good and worth a try. It is an external collection of Name/Key pairs collected around the grid.
A new avatar or an avatar that does not get around much might not be on it. _____________________
