IN MY MORNING NOTICES I FOUND THIS: A major problem with the Second Life 1.23.3 Viewer has come to light which makes jewellery and other linked prims disappear. This problem, if not resolved, will mean that jewellery designers cannot design and your jewellery and other design will probably disappear when worn. I urge you to go to the SL JIRA and vote to 'fix' this issue as Linden Labs are not yet taking the problem seriously. http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13868 Please vote now to have this problem fixed!

Yes, I have noticed the same problem when I zoom in to edit the positioning of some of my jewelry.
Voted .

From: Jack42 Meredith i would vote but everytime i go there to vote i dont see where to vote at?? You have to log in to the JIRA pages. Then you will see where to vote, on the left column. I voted, btw. ALthough there doesn't seem much interest from the Linden side for this JIRA.

Actually I didn't vote for it here's why.
The affected objects are those with linked prims that go over the LL set number of vertices for a linked object which is now at 4096. Do you really need any single object you wear to have that many? This isn't a cumulative total. This is the total per item.
If you wish to see more detail you can always set the RenderMaxNodeSize of your client to the a higher value, it's a editable value, there is nothing 'broken' part of the viewer.

This is interesting to know (thanks Patasha), and i must find out more about it. We need the choice, at least. Still voted though, of course.
