I'm a DJ in Second Life currently using SAM Broadcasting and Virtual DJ as my software programs for DJ in SL; both of which are good for certain types of DJ, but at the same time have limitations. I'm wanting to take my Dee Jaying in SL to a higher level via more intense live mixing, as well as having a digital system that I could use in RL too if needed. I am currently looking at three separate software programs to scale up with and was hoping that I could get some feedback from other DJ in SL/RL who do living mixing on what they feel is a good software and hardware (i.e. mixing boards, decks, etc.) package for me to consider. The three system that I'm currently interested in are; M-Audio Torq Xponent Advance DJ, Native Instruments TRAKTOR Pro Scratch Duo system and Serato Scratch Live system. I like to use voice for introducing songs, therefore the new system needs to be able to handle that requirement as well. I currently use a desk top PC for DJ and SL access. My desk top is less that a year old and has a good quality sound card (1 gig), CPU speed and RAM (4 gigs). Again any feedback would be helpful on the +'ve and -'ve points on an up-grading of my DJ software. Thanks for your help!
