Teleport camping...

Maybe it's been around for a while but I discovered this the other day. I met a new resident who was friendly and we got chatting. Like often happened, they offered me friendship and I accepted. I usually accept friendships and if they fizzle out I remove them a week or two later.

Anyway, I started getting these teleport offers, which I politely declined. Eventually I was at a loose end and so I accepted an offer. I arrived at a place where this new resident was standing by a camping machine that pays L$ every time you teleport someone in!!!

I know I could de-friend and mute this person if I wanted to but I'm curious to see how long the TP offers go on before he gives up.

So what do people think of these teleport campers and, more to the point, would it work if someone kept TPing the same alt in over and over again? !!!

Why not?

Even better - find another one and fly back and forth.

Better still - call up all your alts and set up a conveyor belt of avies flying back and forth.
A simple script should do the trick.

It's been around for a while (over a year?) although I'm surprised it still exists now.

If I try this I'll get RL to use two alts to teleport each other, I don't want to get involved, personally!

can you post the location of the TP camping place. i want to go see.

No you don't. You just want to TP all your friends there and make a few Linden

no peter, i would not ever do that to friends. i just want to see what it is. i can do a search inworld and find a place similar just as easy... but i want to see THIS place.
