My pet has given me permission to view her location on the inworld map like a good little girl.
I can see her location on the inworld map, however, her name is not underlined when I check the "Friends Online" page on the SL website and I can not see her location. (That is when it isn't temporarily disabled due to technical difficulties, which seems to be most of the time lately)
Does anybody know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it, if anything?
Thanks!
Update: No, she's not being naughty, I have checked the webpage while she was kneeling right in front of me in world. BTW, she can't see me either.
I do have other friends that have let me see their location, and they are working fine. Grrrrrr

Maybe she was naughty and turned it off when you're away in hopes of getting punished? Or its a glitch on website. Those who allow me to map them it works for me offline and online. Edit: Entire friend list on web is offline for me. Any one else?

This could be an issue with the friends online page. I have been having issues tonight, I click it and get my friends, 6 online. I refresh, 2 online, I refresh 11 online, its very jumpy, and none of my friends have a pattern for such logging and relogging. Every fourth refresh (after i noticed so started playing and testing) I got a Friends online disabled message, that there is an error.
Perhaps this is the reason?

I have one friend who gave me the right to see her location about a week ago, and I can't see her location on the website, even when I can see her on the map inworld.. Other friends who gave me the right months ago I can see. I think it's an issue with the website.

Friends online was disabled for a long while recently (during the website 500 errors), then briefly yesterday, and yesterday when it was available I found it completely inaccurate (showing a quarter of my friends). I doubt it will be "resolved" over the weekend, but hopefully will be corrected soon?

Maybe "Show in search" needs to be toggled on her profile? It used to be "Publish to web" which I think it needed to have the location available on the web.

Well, the title of this post just illustrates a lesson I had in one of my psych classes called "Frames of Reference."
I thought the OP was asking why they couldn't see their SL (cat, dog, bird, crab, etc.) on the map and thinking "I didn't know that was possible!!!"

The "Friends on Line" list is frequently borked, and Not even all that accurate, my Slave was Logging in trying to Find me once because friends on line showed me on, when i was offline, and at work. I wouldn't rely on the friends on line list too much, as long as you can see her on the Map, that's all that matters. Angel PS; Giggled at Czari Zenovka's Post because I thought the same thing at first, And i Keep slaves as well. A.

Bearing in mind I exist solely at one location, i'd have to say it's a fairly moot point with me...
