Ok here is my dilemma along with the dreaded inventory issues with assets..... I am getting old offline instant messages popping up from the previous day..... I am not doing a chat log or IM log never had this problem until two days ago. I reply to the msg or delete it, log off of SL and go back in a few moments later and it pops up again like I am just receiving it.
I tried going to Help island but well cant even get anyone to even respond to a question there.... anyone have any ideas? I tried everything I think- clear out cache everytime I log off.

I don't know what to do about it but I had the same thing happen with a group IM last night. It was a conversation that had taken place in the Forum Cartel Group chat. I was booted off and when I logged back in a huge list of group IM's from much earlier showed up on my screen.

This happens occasionally for me as well, seems to happen in spurts. Either frequently or not at all.

yep - getting the same issue.
I've even doen a complete reinstall.
Items I am receiving are not saving in the inventory. I change my clothes and when i log back on i am back in the old ones.
It seems its just not saving the data as i log off.
