Excuse me for forgetting, does slt time shift with the upcoming shift in daylight savings time?

yes. because it is based on the west coast in the USA, the time will advance: 1 hour forward.

what if your script is scheduled to do something once per day, between 2 and 3 am? Eill it be skipped?

Yes -- just like any other computer activity

And in the fall, if you have something scheduled to run between 1 and 2, it will run twice.

depends on if you use wallclock for the script, or GMT... no DST on the latter.

The US is switching to DST on this weekend, while in Europe it's on the 29th of March. So for the next two weeks the time difference between the US and Europe is one hour less.

Good to keep in mind when planning a rendez-vous. ;)

and where I am, we do not do anything to the clocks, but we do check the smoke detector batteries, so just a friendly reminder, when you set that clock, check those batteries in the smoke detector
