Lindex question

I have never bought or sold any $L, but I was thinking about selling some to make up for money lost during my maternity leave. The information on the "official" lindex site is spotty at best and it doesn't explain how you get your cash...

How do you recieve any $US for the $L you sell on the lindex?

Whenever you sell $L, you'll see the $ amount under "US Dollar balance". You can withdraw that amount into a Paypal account by clicking on the Withdraw button. This button only appears when you have a positive USD balance. You have to setup your Paypal account before you can withdraw any $ from SL. LL used to issue LL checks to those with no paypal accounts, but that has been discontinued as of Dec. 31.

Sell the L$ on the Lindex. The proceeds go into the US$ part of your account.

You can request that some or all of your US$ be transferred to PayPal. It generally takes a week to 10 days.

Another way, faster, if you have an account with XStreet. Transfer the L$ to your XStreet Account, and sell them on that exchange. Then use "Withdraw" to send US$ to PayPal.

If you're selling via Lindex, don't take market value! Sell at a few cents below market. It might take a little longer, but you can generally get a better return if you're willing to wait!
