I often see people talking and sometimes a message will come up like "Wynter looks curiously at the stranger" like a thought. Is this OCC? How do you use this feature?

Thanks, I just found something that said to type /22 as well. Does this work everywhere too?

Wynter, /22 is something different. That's the "channel" on which you chat. Basically, if you start a chat line with /<any number> it is limiting chat to only that channel. Scripted objects will often listen only on one specific channel for instructions to, for example, change shoe color or hide pose balls. Acceptable channel numbers are 0 to <some large number i'm not looking up>

0 is the channel for general chat (everything you now see on chat). So, typing
/0I see you
is the same as:
I see you

Except for the interesting fact that if you type /0 first, you do not use the typing anim or sound.

On the other hand, "/me hugs you", results in "Nika Talaj hugs you"

Prolly, lol ... I just picked them up here and there. Scripted things that you buy either have a notecard that tells you their channel, or tell you their channel when you rez them.

All you need to do is type "/me babbles nonsense" and you will say say your OCC stuff.
