I got this e-mail this morning.... did anyone win tickets to the show?

Hi

Thanks very much for entering to win a ticket to the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra's concert on 14 September in Second Life.
I am very sorry to say that we have not been able to allocate a ticket for you on this occasion. We were overwhelmed by demand for these tickets - over 900 people applied for a place.
The good news, however, is that this event will also be streamed live in Second Life beginning at 7.30 pm GMT by SLCN.TV (Second Life Cable Network). The coverage will be available on their website, www.slcn.tv as well as to hundreds of screens in Second Life and several big screen locations including:

All I got was a form letter saying that they had over 900 applicants and that I wasn't one of the lucky winners.

I won a ticket, but do not want to brag about it; I wish everybody who wanted could have a spot, but with the current state of SL we all know it is simply not doable :-/

Please feel free to watch it at http://www.slcn.tv - though! I had no idea that website even existed until the other day, and have had a great time watching the videos there.

Another thing: The guys at the Music Academy are cool, so join their group and have a chat with them

I need a new tuxedo now.

Hooray! We'll look for you in the audience as we watch from some other sim; in my OP are listed several viewing sites; I guess it's going to be broadcast from a few places. Have fun and throw roses at the orchestra!
