Is there still free 512 m2/no monthly fees land when you upgrade to premium? Can't find it anywhere on SL website.

And how big is 512m2? Is it big enough for one house, two houses or more like small 1bdr apt.?

The land is not free. You still have to buy the land. You are free from payning tier on it, which is sorta like a property tax. 512m is ok for a small house.

Oh you're right - i have to buy it but it's still like under L$800 - right?

512 m2 land is usually 16m x 32m in size and will allow you to have a maximum of 117 prims on it. That is not extravagant but it is sufficient for a small house and some low prim furniture.

Shameless plug: I sell several inexpensive houses that were designed specifically for first land owners, to fit on this size land, and low prim furniture too.

Hmm this is odd - i thought there was some kind of "Land for landless" program.

!st land is not available all the time and goes fast when it is. But still if you have never bought land then keep checking because it is cheap. 1st land is $L1 per sq meter = $L512 for a 512 lot.

The first land program ended abruptly in February.

Market value for 512m seems to be L$3500 and up, depending on location etc.

There is no longer First Land @ L$1/sqm, that ended several months ago.

Land is currently around L$6 to L$6.5/sqm for mainland and varies according to the area. For instance, a waterfront/waterlot property, expect to pay around L$9 to L$11/sqm.

A 512sqm plot is usually 16m x 32m and gives you 117 prims - enough for a small house (and a box to sit on) and some low prim furniture.

Your first 512sqm is FREE from Monthly Land Usage (Tier Fee), then you pay according to the maximum amount of land you owned in the previous 30 days on a sliding scale.

If you check out the movix media sim, you will find I have apartments (as low as 30L a week, only 5 prims but these are furnished, a bit trashy but furnished hehe) also have high rise apartments, and trailers for rent.

Or if you are looking for a place for a night or 2, check out the motel, only 5L a night.

Presently you can get Private Island land around $4.90 a m2, a SL friend got so excited she bought about 26k of it last week, but owning private island land comes with its own problems.

You're just bitter because no one comes to your house.....

Very few visitors when you are off of the mainland.

Mainland 512sm lots range from L$4000 and up. A nice location (beach or hilltop) will cost you L$20,000 to L$30,000

last night there were over 50 for $3000 each, flat green. YOU can go on the land search and put the For Sale Mainland filter on and sort by price per meter. There are several 512 plots listed for $3099 and under.
