You might have an old version rezzed inworld somewhere. If you can't find it you can mute the server. Mytsi don't update often so you can be safe doing that, just unmute it once a month to see if a new update is sent.

If you reset the scripts in there manually, that should kill the update checker. And that's a good plan, the last version had some issues and they probably won't be fixed :/ (ETA: oh wait, the freebie version? That's no mod, no manual reset for you  ) |

Is why I prefer to use update notifiers in products, rather than actual update delivery requesters.
