So I've just put my little mainland parcel up for sale. Do I have to do anything to have it included in the land for sale listings on the search or does that happen automatically?
I wish they'd tell you one way or the other in the land FAQ.

As long as your land is set for sale then it will show in the land listings

You don't have to do anything. Sometimes it takes a little while for it to show yellow on the map, but it should hit the Land Sales listing immediately. (Hence the ability of bots to snatch land directly from under your feet if you set it for sale low enough.)
