Here's an image of the finished skin: ![]() To install it, download the zip file: http://www.mediafire.com/?ugncstd3jgu Thank you so much for this, I too have issues with the new low contrast version. The screen will NEVER be a piece of paper, and I was so thrilled when I friend gave me the Zune theme for windows, I have all black buttons now, just like SL!. Now I have to figure out how to do this, so I can make SL have all black buttons again, just like Windows...well sorta. I am going back to 1.19, you'd think they'd give us at least the option for colors, I am told it's in there somewhere, but I don't have the technical knowhow to do it. I hope this link isn't too difficult to figure out. Thanks so much for posting it ![]() |

The login page now displays in the classic style, and a few other viewer settings were tweaked to make them more like the classic look. Still two or three things not finished, but I'd say I'm 95% done. Good enough to post an update for now ![]() Thanks for the comment Cat! I'm glad you're enjoying the skin *smiles* As for different colors, you can use photoshop to recolor all the artwork in the skins\textures folder. If you want to change any of the non-image colors, all the info you need is posted in https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Skinning_HowTo/Basics I hope you and others join in the skinning effort. I'd love to see more skins for people to choose from! |
