Are camping bots able to decline inventory offer?

I have tried to give some campers a LM to a new camping place. Some of them decline, and some of them neither decline nor accept them. Are they all bots?
Do bots have the ability to decline too?

I'm not sure what response you would get from an avie who has set 'busy mode' whether you get a straightforward decline or a statement of them being busy.

they were not busy. They just declined after a few seconds.

And other campers never accepted, but never declined either.

The ones that decline are most likely real humans and happened to watch their pc. The others are either bots... or just afk for a loooong time. If they log off without declining or accepting, you won't get a message. Especially if they're on a long-term spot you can suspect they're happily asleep. ;)

Oh, another thing just came to mind - maybe the area was lag-ridden and they never "received" the lm until after their next logon. Had that a lot myself. ;)

Aside from that, I do think the better bot scripts will be able to answer questions and decline/accept offers of all sort. Don't know for sure of course, but I've seen a lot of weirdness happen with bots. ;)

I never accept landmarks, or any other objects, from random people I don't know. That is a recipe for trouble.

Agreed. At worst, it's something that steals your money/inventory. At best, it's like handing out flyers, hate it. If they want to recommend something, they should have the decency to ask first. ;)

The people that give out stuff are either ad spammers, or trying to crash the camper so they can take the spot. It's cretinous behavior, but oh well.

When you offer something to someone on busy mode you just get a straight decline - no mention of them being on busy. I tried it the other night at the hangout. I handed out a LM to a place we were discussing and I think it was Alicia who was on busy mode. When I gave it to her, I instantly got the decline message. When she came off busy, she was able to accept it.

Most bots are programmed to accept commands and inventory offers only from a master account. The master is specified when the account is logged on, and the bots will accept commands and such only from the master. All other commands, teleport offers, inventory offers, etc, will be automatically declined.
