Hi, I wanted to know:
are we allowed to give away or sell our SL account, for example if i wanted to stop playing SL and have spent a lot of time/money on my avatar and inventory
* and somebody else wants a new account but without the newbie birthday and spending money on a new avie.
Is it "allowed" or is it against linden rules.

I think in some rare cases, IF you write to Linden Lab and send proof of identity they can transfer your account to someone. But if I recall correctly that is in situations such as someone's death. If your items are transferable, send them to the other account. |

Yes you can has been done before but you do need Linden Labs permission first.

Not only is it against the rules, it's stupid.
Your account has real world data associated with it, probably including a payment method (a credit card or a PayPal account). You may have friends or a business reputation in world. Do you want to turn thet information over to someone else? Let them access your account? Deal with your customers as "you"? Make time with your SL partner, insult your friends? Don't be daft. _____________________
