This may be in the blog somewhere, but I can't find it. I have been trying to purchase Lindens since Sunday morning and keep getting a response that they are unable to establish a connection with my card issuer. Is anyone else having this problem?

Very odd - have you tried doing it via XStreet? Even though now owned by LL, they still have their old setup for buying L$

I just went in and bought some lindens; there is no problem. Maybe you need to check your credit card if there is a hold on it or sumthin else. Good Luck!!

Yeah, X Street is telling me I have insufficient funds, but of course that's not true. I'll try LL customer service first and then give my bank a try.

Yeah, there was a recent problem and there are going to be lingering issues for some people. You may need to re-enter your payment info to unstick it.

[UPDATE 7:49 PM Pacific] Our vendor has done some rerouting around the problems in Europe; however, it will take approximately 3 hours by current estimates before transactions complete consistently.

[UPDATE 4:38PM - Pacific] Our service provider is reporting widespread connectivity issues in Europe and is continuing to investigate the problems.

[2:35PM - Pacific] Our service provider has contacted us to say they are still working on the problems. We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

That's what I did. I updated my payment info with the same payment info as before and it works fine now. (sigh) Can't anything be easy with this company?

I have had this same problem for a long time. I tried different credit cards, no use. Billing help says it's the c/c company denying the transaction, the c/c company says they have not received any charge request from LL. Back and forth. No solution.
I tried with my alt, no problem. Credit card works the first time. So it must be a corruption with our accounts, but the only ones who can help, LL, distance itself from any responsibility.

I loved OnRez and shopped there quite a bit, but I absolutely HATE Xstreet.
I hate the way the search functions, the way items are displayed, just everything.

Was having a similar issue with my card. When I went to re-enter it the page kept timing out and wouldn't let me into the billing info screen. I ended up getting through the paypal page and was able to set it up via paypal though so I could purchase lindens.

Paypal won't let you use a credit card as primary source of funding. You must have a link to your bank account, and add a c/c as secondary. Unfortunately, when you add $ to your LL account, you can't choose which source to use, so all funds end up coming from your bank account.

If you need money in SL, you can always try trivia events and earn some linden dollars slowly but surely. One trivia event did happen to award 250L per question last weekend, from what someone told me.

Hi Bradley..

I am also having the same problems with trying to purchase lindens. I am on the edge of being homeless if these ppl do not fix this issue quickly. I will have to go and live in the park with Angelique. lol
