My housemate and I are trying to deed land she bought to our private group (which we are both the only members and owners of).
The SL website said to do this:
Right-click the land and choose About Land.
In the General tab, click Set and select the group.
Select Allow Deed To Group, then Owner Makes Contribution With Deed.
Click Deed.
When we select Deed we get a message saying giving some infor about what we are about to do and then says:
Deed 16368 m2 of land to group:
"Klaire&Marisa"?
We click on OK and nothing happens... nothing changes and she is still the owner.
Can someon explain what we are doing wrong please as we want to do this before the weekend when we move our sl home to the new land...

Hugs Klaire I'm gonna guess that the group does not have enough tier in it to hold your land. You have to go to the Land & L$ tab and donate as much tier as you can (at least 90% of the size of the parcel) and then try again. _____________________

It's not clear whether you're talking about mainland or a private estate. Many estates disable the 'Allow Land Resell' ability on their islands, which also prevents deeding. If you are on estate land, contact the island owner (listed on the Covenant tab of About Land) and request assistance.
If it is, in fact, mainland, then whoever is attempting to deed the land needs to have appropriate privileges within the group. An 'Owner' always has those rights and the default 'Officer' role has them as well. If the person attempting to deed was also checking the 'Owner Makes Contribution With Deed' option (again, on mainland), it shouldn't be necessary to manually edit the tier donations in the group info. _____________________
