Why send 125 avatars to a sim that only holds 43 avatars when regions start going down? Surely LL can re-direct this traffic in a better way. No need to spread the pain across the grid and ruin everyone's events.
Direct the crash overflow to sanboxes or the Governor's Mansion.

They should drop the avatars in organised patterns in Linden water sims. Arrange them to have the Map dots spell out messages: "You are here" "Fix the Grid" "Welcome aliens" "Aliens go home" "Thank you for your patience" "Thanks for all the fish"

There are some inactive welcome sims like Violet, Plum, a few others, that don't seem to get used at all for those overflows. That "nearby location" mechanism is baffling.
