Argghhh!!! Lost object question! (tried search)

I live in an apartement and bought a facelight that said boxed....dragged to the floor and poof! the room is nicely lit and the object is not to be seen....
I have tried all the recommended answers to this in previous posts, but none so far have worked.
I also searched for an object scanner but none where found....
Does mysti-tool have an object scanner? or is there a way to find this easy?
By the way...the facelight I guess was on magenta at the time......guess I will start a dance club!!

Are you sure it didn't rez under the floor?
Perhaps it was placed in the Contents folder of the floor?
(although, why it would make the floor light up is beyond me)
I'm assuming you've tried the ol' "Highlight Transparent" trick, right?
Sometimes these things are tiny, and damned near impossible to see on a cursory look.
Just trying to think of times I've lost things when rezzing them...

I tried the highlight trans...looked under the floor, did a rain dance! Haha
it is a strange one....I have about 60 plus prims of things in this room so the blue map highlights won't help (unless I gather up all my stuff!)
it has changed the color of the whole room however, although subtle.

Pick up everything except the one you can't find, and have the landowner return it to your lost n found folder. Probably the easiest way to track it down.
