Do you use profile camping?
Do you profile camp?
Do you use resident profile picture display?
Do you use script search?

while thinking to create a system every one hates but as a public release, it hit me...

these scripts generate tremendous web traffic checking and rechecking all subscribed avi`s if they are in the group, grab prifle pictures as random display or use the google web search and parse it

is this increase in script usage the fault to the 503?
as these request come from the internal network, do they have a load balancers inplace behind the wall? or just laying siege on the website components while the outside world struggles to get trough?

as these systems get more and more popular, it got me wondering as i doubt there are internal load balancers as they weren`t prepared for this

if it is or not the cause, all these http requests put alot of strain on a fragile system as it is

when people add places to their picks part of their profile to help give the specific place more hits and better placement in search

In spite of the fact that we were supposed to be migrating away from using the webpage based stuff, doesn't it seem awfully ironic that all of our in world stuff is almost completely driven by it now?

Yes, I do think it's because so much is now tied to the web page that it's causing serious load issues. I mean, even our login screen drags crap up from the blog! And that this gets worse as the number of consecutive logins increases. I find that the 503 hits worse at around 3pm CST, because thats when many businesses lets shifts go home for the day on the east coast. It get progressively worse from there.
