My minimap seems to wander around a bit, it should be fixed to lower rh corner ? Is there a docking option somewhere ??

FH I don't see the problem,you can put your minimap where ever you want,just move with your mouse. |

Mine is always in the upper rh corner. I've never known it to wander, but I've never tried to put it anywhere else, either. How odd... hope someone else has more info.
So, I guess this is more of a bump than anything else...

Are you possibly grabbing it with your mouse and shifting the position a bit? I do that sometimes when I am either camming a lot or have lots of things open on my screen.
ETA - about the docking -- the is a settings.xml file that controls a lot of the windows, so there may be something in there (nothing jumped out at me in my quick scan of it). You'll find the file in the same Second Life location where your cache and chat logs are, in a folder called user_settings.

I shift mine around no end. Everything really. I learned that if my partner sat on a box I made I could also shift him around. I do that. He sits there and I move him with my edit arrows. He looks very cuteas I zip him around and plonk him outside the drop off from our skybox. Then I take away that box and drop him.
Shifting is essential.

Mine usually hangs out in the upper right hand corner. Better there, to be honest.
