Classified adult rated sim

I have adult rated sim but when I choose to make classified it only has pg and mature available. Did I miss some important memo? Not read the fine print well enough. Do I advertise my adult sim under mature and then risk a LL spanking?

It wouldn't suprise me at all if the lab simply forgot to update the classified ratings.

You need to be using the 1.23 viewer in order to be shown the Adult one.

Does this apply to those of us who are searching the ads too? If I am looking for a store, and they have relocated to Zindra due to content carried, does that mean I won't find them in search unless I update my viewer?

Oh, joy. I have heard that there are a lot of bugs with 1.23, and I am reluctant to upgrade. Anyone know if the bugs have been fixed yet? Or what the most annoying bugs are?

so basicly you cna have a adult sim, you can sell things in the adult sim... you just cant advertise it.. sweet.

Another odd thing, even with the new viewer you cannot check the "adult" box in search etc by default even if you are age verified, you have to first enable the button.

Edit/preferences/general tab, then there is an option "I want to access content rated:", with a pull down menu where you have to select "PG,Mature and adult"

Not sure if this also effects ability to place adult ads.

Is having payment info on file (credit card) enough to allow me to choose to view adult content, or do I have to do something else to be "age verified?" And do I have to be age verified to visit Zindra, or is payment info on file enough for that?

Sorry to seem like such a noob with these questions, but I haven't been following this issue very closely to this point because I didn't think it really affected me, but now I find that some of the shops I like are moving to Zindra. I also don't like the idea of having someone else censor what I can and cannot see in "search." I'm a big girl, if I don't like what I see, I have the choice to click past it.

Appreciate any feedback about what I need to do to view all ads, and visit Zindra if I so choose.

Yes with the correct viewer and checking the boxes in preferences 'payment info on file' is enough.

For those reluctant to upgrade, might consider snowglobe. It has all the needed adult settings and installs as a seperate viewer.
So you can keep using the 1.22 or earlier as well.

Just to clarify, you need to do Edit > Preferences > General Tab > Rating and choose "PG, Mature, and Adult" from the dropdown list (towards the bottom of the page).

You ALSO, though, need separately to set your preferences for what adverts and listings you want to see, which you do by checking the appropriate boxes in the appropriate tabs for Search. Confusingly, this isn't a global setting.. you might think that checking Mature and Adult in the "Search All" tab would be sufficient, but, at least as I recall, you still have to check the boxes in Groups or Events or whatever when you search using those tabs.
