So i went through the age verification thing and got a message that said it was successful.
If I try to do a search on places with anything adult in the title, it gives me a message that says, blocked due to SL restrictions or something like that.
Is there a lag time before verification?? Are we never again allowed to use "search"????
WTF?

Check that you have also gone to Edit-Preferences-General and said you want to access PG, Mature and Adult content (drop-down box towards the bottom) AND that, on the relevant search tab, you have also said you would like to be shown Adult content (you have to set it for each category you want to search; saying you want to see Adult on the "All" tab doesn't affect your setting for the Events tab, for example).

You have Payment Info Used in your profile. You didn't need to verify. You just didn't have mature and adult checked in preferences is my guess.
