A strange problem this.
I tried on a demo goth skin, then when trying to wear my normal skin after, the goth demo still showed.
I relogged a few times to no avail, my usual skin being saved in several outfits, I tried each one but all showed the goth demo still! Worn items in inventory showed my usual skin on.
Eventually I tried an old skin which worked, but has anyone any ideas at all as to what happened? My skin was only weeks old and not exactly cheap so any suggestions would be apreciated. I cleared cache, relogged, I just cant think of anything else to try.

perhaps the asset got messed up when it was run through the sim you're on, or perhaps there's some strange caching going on in your video card memory (because I would've expected clear cache and the relog to fix it). TP or reboot your comp would be the solution for the two (very) unlikely ideas there.

Did you try rebaking textures at all? Also there's another possible solution.....not sure of the exact path to follow but it's something to do with going back to the original avatar (test female/male) and then changing back. Someone else here must know what I'm talking about.....I've seen it posted on the forums before as a a fix.......  |
