Hello,
This is mostly a fruitless post but LL stopped my logins for 5 minutes, enough time to vent here....
Logged in today, all my sim stats were OK - 15 client fps, 45 sim fps, great bandwidth, script time @ 13 etc but my avatar will not walk nor do anything, even chat, at least not until waiting several minutes after trying to do so
Tried to go to another sim, same dealio - impossible to do anything!
Relogged to try and clear the problem a couple of times and get locked out for that.
My 5 minutes are prolly up - hope to see you inworld!

Hi, HatHead! Well, without specifics it'd be kinda hard to narrow this one down. Could be on your end, even if the stats seems good. Could also be on LL's end.
First thing I think of is a wireless connection. SL kinda dislikes it.
Second is the 'rinse and repeat.' Clear the cache, log into another sim. Both of these can be found under preferences, cache's under network and starting sim is under the general tab.

Hey Raudf - sim stats were good, other than I can't give any more cuz I am locked out yet again! Not wireless here. I will attempt to clear the cache and log into my other sim. thanks for the response!

Sounds like you crashed on log in the first time and now your ghosted. You'll have to wait till your "ghost" is not on LL's servers. Keep trying about every 5 to 10 mins........your ghost will eventually leave and you'll be able to log in again.

Raudf's advice is good.
Also, if/when you do get in next, detach any scripted devices you may be wearing. Sometimes the scripts can get a little borked.
But it really does sound more like your cache is messed up. If clearing it doesn't work, try deleting it (you will have to reset your preferences). Just delete the entire directory: C:\Documents and Settings\<your userid>\Application Data\SecondLife. You might also delete as much as you can out of your Temp directory.

Firstly, got say the SL residents rawk!
Was coming here to post the resolution and see that Nika is on it.
It was indeed a script bork - nothing to do with the logic of the script, which works well, but somehow the internal state of the particular instance of script itself inside SL. That the issue would persist into different sims with the avatar after standing up off the object is a bit nutso given no attachements are involved. Nothing getting griefed by SL itself!
Thanks for quick response - I do appreciate it!

How did you know it was a borked Script?

I curious, how did you find this out?
