maybe this is in the wrong place, im not sure, but none the less im a resident and am looking for answers...lol.
ok, im in a pickle with my land fees.
my partner and i own quite a big chunk of land on agrippa, my fees cover me to hold 8192 (+512 bonus) my partner can hold 4096 (+512 bonus) (the bonus being what everyone used to get upon becoming a paid member)
ok, we own in total 3 strips of land equalling 9216 (the land is all connected and in the same region)
now, looking at both accounts -

MY PARTNERS ACCOUNT
Square meters donated: 8133
Premium Bonus in Square Meters: 512
512
Paid Tier Level: 8192
8192
Available Square Meters: 571
571
Monthly Cost:* US$40.00
US$40.00

MY ACCOUNT
Square meters donated: 4571
Premium Bonus in Square Meters: 512
512
Paid Tier Level: 4096
4096
Available Square Meters: 37
37
Monthly Cost:* US$25.00
US$25.00

does anyone have any ideas what has gone wrong? could it be the land donated which is wrong, if so, how can it be changed to show correct?
obviously i dont want either of us paying more than we have to with the price of the game being as high as it is for something you never actually own...

thanks to you all and have a happy christmas.
i thought i would ask here first before i ask a linden for answers.

https://secondlife.com/account/groupland.php will tell you how much you have donated to each different group. If you click the name of a group, you'll see what land is owned by that group as well.

If you both only own 9216m² total you both should be able to get by on 4096m² each:

(4096m² + 512m²) times 2 + 10% = 10,128m²

---

When you're inworld, go to the group information window and the "Land & L$" tab. You'll be able to change your "contribution" (donated tier) there, your maximum donated should be 4608m² to keep you within the 4096m² tier bracket. If it's higher, simply change it to 4608m² and look at your account page again to see if the numbers work out (it could be delayed by a bit), if they don't, look at the group list again to see if you didn't donate to some other group that you forgot about.

Here's what you do: Both of you donate 4608 worth of tier to the group. Then both will select the 4096 ($25) tier level (aka "tier down".) You really don't need to contact a Linden about this; it's pretty easy to do.

Well if the partner doesn't want to get dinged this month for over-contributing, that's a support ticket. (Don't know if they'd honor it though.)

Likely not if its human error, though it is possible

They lowered my peak tier usage when I went over due to the way auctions are done, but I was warned it would be only that once, and it was like a 'good faith gesture' kinda thing.

You can try, I'd suggest live chat as its faster and then they have to interact with you, but I wouldn't get your hopes up on the peak tier downgrade.
