It wouldn't be the first time Lindens have played favorites to their friends, and certainly won't be the last. The question is, what can you, I, or anyone do about it, and the answer is little. The Lindens don't have an "Internal Affairs" division to police themselves, so reporting Linden favoritism to the Lindens would be useless. It's just another case of like it or lump it.

When did Zyngo get banned? Or is it Tringo? What's the one that's a bit like Tetris?

Tringo is the one like Tetris. Zyngo is the slingo/Devil May Care knockoff, with a couple of enhanced security features. And I think both have been banned due to ham-fisted enforcement (some freeplay machines had been deleted for reasons beyond me...)

What do I think of it? I think you need to find better things to do with your life than follow Lindens around snapping pictures.

Place A has Zyngo tables out - The OP does not say they are free play or not.

Place A gets closed.

Place A Opens back up

Place A gets closed again.

No mention of what other games are located in Place A.

As the Original Post is written not only do I not see the scandal, I have to agree with the Linden.

Was Place A using only free play Zyngo games? This would perhaps influence how fair this is. However the OP doesnt elaborate.

Did Place A have any other games out?

I realize theres more than one "Place A" but since we dont know the circumstances of any of them they are all "Place A" for logical purposes.

Plus although the OP uses the Plural no examples of the closed places are given, surely not in every case they were shut down twice.

To recap:

An obscure Linden has been accused of playing favorites and not closing certain "illegal" gambling establishments.

The evidence:

Two in-world pictures of said Linden among gambling machines.

An edited chat session.

Ok, I'm no lawyer, but I do watch Judge Judy on my days off. Having established my total lack of legal, lawyer-type training, even I can say that the OP has failed to prove her case. The evidence lacks context. Nothing in the pictures proves that she is playing favorites. The edited chat session proves nothing, because its edited.

I don't think this quite qualifies as a scandal. Sounds more like sour grapes.

I play a lawyer on TV (lies - I do no such thing), and I have to agree with Teeny and Collette. This is silly. Why don't you edit the chat log to make them look like bank robbers as well. Bank robbery is much more interesting than Zyngo machines. You have no legitimate evidence of anything.

One post I do not agree with is Isablan's. I would prefer not to see dirty pictures of Philip. Really. Please do not post those. In some cases, ignorance really is bliss.

I think it would be highly unlikely that one employee would be allowed to put the fate of a multimillion dollar company at risk like this.

Let me say something: I first said that we here are talking about fairness. Thats why I deleted the names of the users. And i never say someone does this or that. But in fact some places were be closed, someones are not. And i was asking (!!!) why?

But - if you are thinking that this is not the right way to discuss things wich maybe(!) goes wrong I will delete the post now, to avoid and endless discussion. Maybe you are right and me wrong.

I'm still sure that is not fair to close some places and some other not. Lets open all, or close all. Thats what I want to say.
