I've posted this in Products Wanted also, but no answers or views as of yet:
Hi guys, last year I had a ground cover that just had random snow here and there, not your typical solid snow ground cover...I can't find it in my inventory, must be one of the things that disappeared back when they had the inventory problem I've been to countless landscaping/christmas shops and can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so, where I can get it. Thanks in advance.

Bumping thread.
I can't believe no one has answered this. I don't know the answer, but Caledon has some free seasonal textures at the main hub similar to what you describe. Mostly they're more snow than grass though instead of the other way around.
I'm not sure if or how these work on land. Never tried it.
Might be worth checking out as a temporary fix.

I've got one, that I am pretty sure I got from the library, that is not solid snow, but not quite as random or scattered as I think you are meaning. This one does have grass showing thru though. Cannot remember the exact name, but there are not that many snow textures in the library.

Yes. I want one too! I need some that is transparent with random sprinkling of snow. And I've been in several places and even typical winter sims that sell Christmas trees, snowy trees, prim snow, snowmen..... I find all sort of winter items but not the texture I want.

lol, sorry guys, should have thought about that....It is a freebie at a place called "Pele" something or other, sorry not in-world at the moment, but if you go to all search and put in "snow land snow cover" the sim comes up first All around the dance floor of the club is the snow, you click on it to buy---there is no signage advertising it.
