strange offer from SL exchange

I received a strange offer in my email from someone it reads as follows;

"The object 'SL Exchange Magic Box black' in Second Life has offered you inventory.Log in to accept to decline this inventory. = SL Exchange Magic Box black is owned by Moeka Kohime= http://slurl.com/secondlife/Zero%20Style/245/20/32"

Has this happened to anyone else? Just curious if anyone else has gotten something like this and to what it might be.

About 50 other people are probably going to reply at the same time, but SLExchange works by having vendors put scripted boxes containing their for-sale inventory items out on their own property. When a customer orders something, SLExchange notifies the "magic box" in-world to send the item to the purchaser. Some folks rename their boxes so you know where the item's coming from, but many people don't. If you didn't purchase something on SLExchange, maybe a friend bought you something.

That just means someone sent you something or you bought something while offline and forgot.

There maybe a few server oddities with the exchange this week as well. I had a few announcements as well, that were not my products. Some susbcriptions to items that I linked through my e-mail and were not mine. They could be having network problems.

If you were buying a present for a friend, you should've clicked on the Buy As Gift button, not the Buy Now button.

Since you got the message, the item was delivered (or delivery was attempted) to YOU, not your friend.
