I haven't been on SL in some time and just noticed they put limits on how much credit you can process. Right now the amount of Lindens i can transfer to real dollars is zero, how can i increase it? Do i need to subscribe to raise it? Thanks!

You can find the/your trading limits here:

https://www.secondlife.com/currency/describe-limits.php

Note that "days" in the New Resident limits description refers to days since first billing transaction with Linden Lab.

If your limits are stuck at $0 then you can start the 'clock' by buying a few L$, even if you just buy a dollar's worth of Lindens, that's enough to start the process of increasing your limits.

I'm authorised to buy 2,500 USD a month?!?!?!?!? WTF? When am I ever going to need over half a million L$? o.0

....and if I had a spare 2,500 USD a month I'd buy an island instead.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

That limit is just for in case someone creates some really, really, really cool shoes.

That counts to your limit. I bought two sims at auction early spring and found myself Linden poor, The USD in the auction exceeded my limits and I could buy no lindens for the rest of the month.

2500USD is insanely high
2500USD is insanely low

It just all depends.

Nope, if you just want Lindens, you can buy anything between $1 and $10...top line of the Resident Monthly Limits table is your Linden limit.

http://www.secondlife.com/currency/describe-limits.php

The bottom line is your USD purchase amount, for tier and Premium account payments. They do overlap, though...if you spend $10 for Lindens, you'll only have $15 available for USD purchases, and vice versa. Increasing your credit (different link than buying Lindens) would start the clock too, but it seems to create problems with buying Lindens until the limit increases.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

So i can just buy anything in game between 1 and 10 lindens?

I just want to clear the lindens out back to dollars completely. The limits are really annoying to say the least. Good for linden lab though obviously.

when I contacted support over problems about payment, the kind Linden on the other end noticed I had your limit and automatically push it to the $2500 UD level, so try telephoning support and they should do it. I'm not a premium account holder either, just 'info on file'.

Buy an island? I'd rent a studio in Manhattan.
