"Log in to accept to decline this inventory"

This has been an issue for a very LONG time, but one that never quite bothered me until now. I get all of my IMs to email when I'm off line, and whenever anyone tries to send me anything, I get the message in the title of this thread. The problem is that when I finally log in, I don't get any option to accept or decline ANYTHING. In the past, I found that the object would be in my inventory by "default", but lately, it's just not there! I've checked to make sure I'm not in "busy" mode; I've checked my trash; I've checked lost and found; all to no avail. Any suggestions??

Arielyn, what kinds of things are you expecting the 'inventory' to be? It can be a notecard, rather than an object. Does it say who the inventory is from? Usually the offline IM will state who the sender is.
