skyboxes?

so i'm looking to find my own place, and preferably, i'd like to just put my own prefab on the joint. where exactly should i be looking for land/sky and just land/sky? everything i've found so far has included a place that i'm not nuts about.

Well you can go premium and buy mainland, a 512 will cost you USD9.99 a month or USD$6 a month if you go for a yearly subscription, you get L$300 a week for that so the gross cost is less.

Alternatively you can rent land, plenty of land rentals out there and if you want a skybox then I'm assuming the view isn't important to you. Search the classifieds for land rentals.

The view is stupendous in a skybox especially if you have windlight. Put your skybox at 950 meters and you'll be living amongst the clouds with the bluest ocean far below. Go even higher and you will never see an out of place prim or uninvited avatars.

I spent my first 6 months renting, I can recommend an excellent, trustworthy landlord. She has skyboxes on private islands, fully configureable, private and secure. furnished, sexbed, hottub, big screen TV and 100 extra prims. She was charging 400/wk, IM me inworld for her name.

Or the bluest of oceans far below (unless turning graphics up high shows it).
