Minor problem with a group member

One member in our groups (Grove of the Three Elements, Druid Shapeshifters) shows up in the list sans name. Sometimes when you click on the line his profile has a name, sometimes not. We've talked over account options, but it sounds as if everything is fine. This is a relatively new alt (now main account) set up for when we changed our place around. Wondering if is is true for people not in the group or if anyone knows why it would happen. Not causing any issues, but weird. Seems to be true for both viewers.

It appears to be a serverside problem. For the last few days my name is only sometimes showing up my own profile and in my groups. Even the one I own myself. Also on my chimera it doesnt always have my name either when I click on it. It just "chimera owned by ' ' would like to animate your avatar"

Other people been reporting the same thing happening to them. Hopefully it will be sorted soon.

Thanks for the feedback. Didn't know if it was a permanent thing or not and the avatar is basic, so calling LL wasn't an option for him. All the other avenues are too much trouble, so it was wait and see for him.

I had this problem with a member of one of my groups this week. Nothing could be done to fix it.
I tried booting them and then re-inviting them,
Making sure they were in the same sim as me before trying again.
Booting them and getting t hem to join up after setting the group to open enrollment temporarily.
Nothing.

Then after a few days, all became OK and they appeared as their name normally in the group list.

The problem affected them on my friends list too and I could not see their name on their profile or IM from them.

Very, very strange and now all has righted by itself.

I have the same problem with my own name. I opened a ticket with support and this is the response I got:
