Where can I get some really nice prim suits, the kind with prim ties and what not. I don't want it to look like a layer of clothing.

Try Hoorenbeek. They sent out a group notice yesterday about a new line of suits in-store. I haven't had time to check it out yet, but their work is usually great quality.
Other stores you might try are Armidi (Gisaci), and Muism. I think Muism had some good ties last time I was there, but you may have to buy tie and suit separately from different stores and put them together.

Another store you could try (don't know why I didn't think of it earlier this morning) is Alphamale.

From: Brianna Nagy There are no suits at Blaze. I beg to differ. I am at Blaze standing before a display of several suits in addition to their tuxes. With a wide variety of prim ties to choose from.

or just the tie? I'm concerned with it looking good, not cheesy.

From: Brianna Nagy Where did you find them? When inside the store and looking out the main entrance, the mens suits are on the wall to the left. The womens suits are on the wall to the right.

Oh hey, Paper Couture has a very nice pantsuit with a high prim collar, cuffs, and a belt. I've never been to Paper Couture! I checked it out and couldn't find anything there, but checked Onrez. Some very interesting things there! As for Blaze, my apologies, I found it. I like them a lot, they're wool though. But still a very nice suit.

From: Brianna Nagy I'm concerned with it looking good, not cheesy. well you did say suits made from prims, which implies the entire suit.... now if you had said suits that had some prim parts such as collars and ties, that would have been more clear.... just saying

From: Brianna Nagy There are no suits at Blaze. There are lots of suits at Blaze. I own one, plus a whole bunch of the seperate shirts and ties. They're upstairs. I think they're the nicest suits I've seen in SL.

I've been looking for suits with prim collars and ties.
In the end, I ended up using an Armidi tie, with the collar from a NoaR shirt and the shirt itself - under an Armidi suit.
But I would still prefer something with prim cuffs on sleeves and pants.
