This started about 2 days ago. The message shows up in a popup screen on the bottom right corner and in chat. It comes and goes no matter where i'm at in SL. When it starts, it pops up like ever 2 seconds. Very annoying.
I have restarted sims and checked for anything unusual but can not find anything that may be causing it.
Any clues??

Tools -> Show Script Warning/Error Window
The name and location of the object having the error is displayed in the tab.

It's blank, nothing there.
The error was happening when I checked it.

That can come from attachments too, it's a generic "something is screwed up in your inventory or one of your objects' inventories" message. There isn't much more than process of elimination that you can use to hunt down these things :/

Best is to do an inventory search for 'worn'. Which will list all the items you're wearing. Then remove all items which aren't clothes. (I know horrible idea).
Attach them one by one again, until the message pops up. That item will be corrupt.
You can try to flush the cache, and hope it fixes it. Sometimes the items get fixed by themselves. (LL has security mechanisms to prevent deletion of items which shouldn't be deleted.)
But as you aren't missing the item right now, i wouldn't worry about it.

Sounds like you are wearing something that wants to make particles or objects at regular intervals, and the particle texture (or object) has become corrupted in your inventory. As others have said, detach everything (particularly cute scripted things), and see what happens.
But first, clear your cache and relog.
Good luck! .

I appreciate the help but it's nothing on me. I stripped everything off and changed all my body parts from head to toe! There's a few things I recently built with particle emitters in them and I deleted them but still no luck.
Gonna have to send this one off to LL I think.

Update: DON'T PLAY WITH GUNS!! It was some gosh darn bullets on the other half of a sim we rent out!! With nowhere else to look, I decided to check over there and sure enough, 7 bullets showed up. After returning them, problem solved. Unreal. Never ever had that happen before. But still, my shootem up days are over...lol. Thanks again for all the input Hope this helps someone else in the future, cause it was dam annoying!
