Hi,

Was wonder in if anyone has any suggestions on really good walk anim for males, my BF is having so much trouble finding one he really likes?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated :)

Also, who and where in SL are the good animators?

For the benefit of anyone in the UK, I managed to find a walk at Sine Wave that replicates Danny Dyer's simian strut quite magnificently.

Nobody else will have a scooby at what I'm talking about. Apologies.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I currently use one from Vista where I walk with my hands in my pockets.

As far as good animators ... I have seen some nice poses and animations at just about anyone's shop. Some of thhe larger shops are Bits & Bobs, Abranimation, JB Balls, Sexy Jessy

There is a place where just about evryone has a booth, but know i can't remember the name ... Animation Island? Just do a places search for animations and it will be the top of the list.

I didn't want to spend much money on my guy alt and all the free guy walks look dorky, but the walk out of the free Dyke Walk at Brazen Women looks pretty good on him! The run looks wrong so i got rid of that. Watch out if you rez that one to take the walk out to put in a HUD because it's a teensy transparent cube.

I'm still using the male walk from Reverie in Chartreuse. It's confident but attitude-free. :)

I'll just mention Outrider cuz I think a lot of people use those. Personally, I've yet to see *any* male walk that doesn't look infinitely dorkier than the standard male walk, but to each his own.

Will have to investigate some of these. I think I can rule out the gangsta swagger before seeing it, but I am pretty keen to learn whether there is a male walk out there that isn't a cross between a mince and the result of an icy pavement.

I know what you mean, but the very notion of the word "gangsta" makes me want to stick hot pins in my eyes.

It could be the coolest walk in the place, but it won't be moving my virtual joints :)
